Our HOW team is available to provide additional support within school to students in areas of self-care, emotional well-being, social skills and relationships.
Staff, students or parents can make a referral to the team for additional support and then, following assessment of the student’s needs, the team will develop an individualised program of support.
We ensure that professionals’ recommendations and resources are put into place and that staff and parents are kept up-to-date with strategies. We also provide personalised resources (e.g. reward charts, task boards, scaling charts, sensory items) and toolkits for use in the classroom.
Between us we have a wealth of training, experience and links with other agencies to enable us to support students with a wide variety of SEN, emotional and social and communication difficulties.
