Class teacher full time, fixed term (MPS/UPS + SEN1) – required for September 2018

We are seeking to appoint a full-time teacher on a fixed term contract until December 2018 at this popular and successful all age special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and ASD. We are looking for a primary trained teacher with a creative background. You will be required to deliver national curriculum subjects adapted to the primary model, to suit the needs of our learners in Key Stages 3 and 4. This will include music and the arts.

We are a successful Teaching School where staff have access to regular training, peer support and planning time to support the delivery of our exciting challenge-based curriculum. We can also support NQTs.

Apprentice Receptionist/Office Administrator

Fixed term for 15 months

Term time only plus 5 INSET days, 37 hours per week

 

 Are you interested in providing excellent customer service to visitors, parents and pupils?  Are you organised and computer literate?  Would you like to combine work with training?

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Receptionist/Administrator to this outstanding all age (4-18 years) special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and ASD, which was designated as a Teaching School in September 2015.  All the pupils at Hazel Oak have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan.

You will work under the instruction and guidance of the Business Manager and office staff to undertake reception and office duties using Microsoft programmes.  You will receive support and guidance in building a portfolio of evidence to support your learning for a Business Administration qualification.

The successful applicant would join a dedicated and friendly team who are driven to achieve the best for all pupils.
