Band C £19,171 - £22,462 (£13,564 - £15,893 actual salary)

32.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm 

(there may be some flexibility in working pattern for the right candidate)

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our outstanding school as part of our hardworking and friendly administrative team. 

Hazel Oak School is an all age school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and a large percentage of Autistic Spectrum Conditions.  We are proud to be a unique community of learners where every individual is celebrated for who they are and to be the best they can be.  In July this year we were delighted to be rated Outstanding by Ofsted.  

Working alongside the administrative team, this is a key, and varied, role which includes:

  • ensuring the smooth running of the review process for Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and preparing paperwork for new pupils and leavers; 
  • providing administrative support for the organisation of exams; 
  • managing electronic and paper-based pupil records, to include School Census; and 
  • providing administrative support for the development of our Community Hub.

There may be times when you will need to visit Solihull College for EHCP meetings with our 6th Form parents.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking for a new challenge.  You will need to have a high level of communication and IT skills, as well as an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within a busy environment.  Flexibility and a sense of humour are essential to the role.
