Looking after our bodies and minds is an essential way to remain healthy and well. At Hazel Oak we focus on individual wellbeing both in and out of the classroom, for pupils staff and families. Our curriculum and ethos tracks a golden thread of wellbeing through all aspects of school life, evident in RSE (Relationships and Sex Education), PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education), P4C (Philosophy for children) and all the physical and bodily health learning we address through cooking skills, BEAM, Real PE and the daily ‘Fitness Flash’.

Being mindful of ourselves and how we think and act are the building blocks for a resilient and happy life and this value also extends to the wider hazel Oak family of pupils, parents, staff and stakeholders.
